Masala Fish- Fish Curry- Punjabi Masala Fish

This is another amazing recipe which is ready within 30 mins. This Masala fish curry is absolutely packed with flavours. Fish is first marinaded and cooked and then added to an incredibly spice infused masala sauce.
Preparation time : 45 mins
Serving - 2

Ingredients:
Katla/rohu Fish (washed)- 500 grams
Tomato Puree - 1.5 medium
onion - medium size 1
Ginger Garlic paste Coriander seeds ,Cumin seeds ,cinnamon : mix paste
Turmeric powder - 1.5 tsp
Red chilli powder - 3 tsp
Cooking oil -1/4 cup
Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Method:
Marinate fish with 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp oil and cumin. Leave for 30 min to 1 hr. Then fry on medium

Fry 1 1/2 onion with 1 tsp zeera, once translucent add 1 1/2 tsp grated garlic . Fry for couple of minutes then add 3 medium tomatoes. Fry for few minutes then add spices

Add 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp coriander powder, 2 chopped green chillies, 2 tbsp fresh coriander. Mix well and then add 1 cup of warm water.
Then add the fish pieces, coat them well and cook on low to medium heat for 10 mins and garnish with fresh coriander
