Andrab Lake ( Koh ) Lake is one of the largest and most beautiful glacial Lakes of Swat Valley.
Andrab Lake Swat is also known as Koh Lake meaning Colour changing lake because it changes its color from blue to green and also it becomes crystal clear sometimes from different angles. This color-changing nature of this lake makes it different from all other Lakes of Swat.The Stunning Beauty of the Lake is one of the reasons that catches the attention of travelers visiting swat. Koh lake is less Famous but mesmerizing Tourist Destination of Swat for Nature lovers and for those who want to hike and do adventure.
Lake Andrab is located 22 km from Kalam and 16 km from Blue Water
Koh Lake is located at the height of 11,000 ft above sea level in Anakar Valley, an adjacent valley to Kalam Swat. Blue Water is also another Famous Tourist Attraction of Anakar Valley.
How to Reach Andrab Lake
Andrab Lake is one of the places to visit in Swat and Kalam. Andrab Lake is accessed from Kalam Bazar. From Kalam Bazar, you have to go to a famous tourist point Blue Water. Bluewater Point in Ankar Village is quite a beautiful place to visit near to Kalam.
Blue Water serves as a base camp of the trek to Koh Lake. From Blue Water, it takes 7-8 hours to reach Andrab Lake.
The trek to Kooh Lake is an easy to moderate Trek. Anyone with a bit of

courage can reach Koh Lake and enjoy its beauty. The Trek throughout is along the Stream which comes down from Koh Lake. On the way, many pastures and lush green fields come along. The Beauty of this Ankar Valley welcome tourist with all its glory.
You can also camp at the pastures or Maidan near to Kooh Lake if you want to stay a night there.
The Lake is only accessible during the Summers season until the snowfall starts again in these Areas.
From Blue Water, you can also Trek towards Janshai Meadows, and Mastuj Lake or Mastuj Danda.

First Day
Departure from Islamabad for Swat valley at 7 am
Reach From Blue Water kalam at around 1 pm
your will then start and enjoy one of the most amazing 8 hours trekking expedition to Andrab or Kooh Lake
Arrive at Maidan meadows at around 9 pm
You can also camp at the pastures or Maidan Banda near to Kooh Lake
you will take some rest in their camps
Second day
Before breakfast or after breakfast at 5 clock in the morning to start the trekking towards Lake Andrab
You leave the bags in your tent
From Maidan Banda, women and ordinary tourists can reach the lake in about two hours
The journey from Maidan Bandi to the lake is very beautiful
Sightseeing of the beautiful meadows and pastures of Maidan Banda Enjoy some quality time in near by valleys
Spend 2 to 3 hours on Andrab Lake and enjoy
After a half day tour, you will start their journey back home
It is your wish that you spend another night in Banda
Or go back to Bluwater
The return journey is easy, meaning ordinary tourists can reach Bluewater in five to six hours
It depends on you when you get to the car Whether or not you can travel further
You can also spend the night in Kalam Bahrain and Mingora and also travel at night and reach Islamabad.
