The Truth About the Coin Shortage

The coin shortage has sparked rumors of intentional mischief by the Mint and the Federal Reserve trying to move society to a cashless society. This would grant the Federal Reserve easier abilities to control the money supply, including forcing negative rates on currency holders. While it doesn't look like the shortage was intentional, it certainly is hurting the poor right now.
