The loss of Chadwick Boseman has been a tragic and unexpected occurrence that has taken it’s toll not just on the Marvel Cinematic Universe and its fans, but movie goers across the spectrum. Boseman had a number of iconic roles before suiting up for the MCU, including portraying Thurgood Marshall, Jackie Robinson, and James Brown. The role of T’Challa, The Black Panther brought Boseman to worldwide fame in a groundbreaking and amazing performance. While his time with us has been cut short, he has still managed to leave behind a legacy in the MCU that will never be forgotten. Appearing in just four films and only one of them a ‘solo’ film, Boseman made the most of his screen time creating a thoughtful, empathetic, and deeply meaningful character. From amazing over the top stunt scenes to incredibly subtle and introspective moments, Boseman brought poise, dignity, to the MCU and his presence affected everyone he worked with.Whether he was hunting down Bucky Barnes the Winter Soldier in Captain America: Civil War, defending Wakanda from Killmonger in Black Panther, defending Vision and the universe in Avengers: Infinity War, or running with the Gauntlet with Thanos in Avengers: Endgame, Boseman made the most of his time on screen.
