If you want to make your own electric roller blind, then the Somfy Sonesse 40 RTS or WT is a good option.

This motor is constructed to be very quiet and can be connected to mains power, so no need for batteries.

The Sonesse 40 WT version is switch controlled (or can be used for a home control system)
The Sonesse 40 RTS has an integrated remote control receiver and can be connected to RTS remote controls and timers.

The kit as used in the video has all the parts you need, including a 40 mm aluminum tube.

All you need to get is the fabric and screws.

The remote control for the RTS version has to be ordered separately as there are many options.
