Day 6 of my Andaman Islands tour was an adventurous and unique excursion to Baratang Island, known for its natural limestone caves, dense mangroves, and remote routes.
In this vlog, I travel through the Jarawa Reserve route on the way to Baratang Island, a journey that is unlike any other in Andaman. The route itself is a rare experience, surrounded by dense forests and strict travel regulations.
After reaching Baratang, the journey continues with a speedboat ride through mangrove creeks, offering stunning views of narrow waterways and lush green surroundings. This was my first-ever speedboat experience, making the ride even more memorable.
The highlight of this excursion is the visit to the Baratang Limestone Caves, a naturally formed cave system created over thousands of years. The walk through the forest and the cave interiors showcase a completely different side of Andaman beyond beaches and islands.
