Fire and Ice: The Rocket Richard Riot - Feature, Documentary

In 1955, as the tight and hotly contested hockey season was coming to an end, the star of the Montreal Canadiens, Maurice Richard (aka The Rocket), was suspended by then president of the league Clarence Campbell, setting off a huge riot in the streets of Montreal and adding to the sparks of the political revolution in Quebec that led to the rise of the separatist movement.

Un documentaire brossant le portait de la légende canadienne du hockey sur glace: Maurice Richard. En 1955, alors que la saison de hockey tire à sa fin, le joueur de hockey étoile du Canadien de Montréal, Maurice Rocket Richard est suspendu par le président de la ligue. Cet événement provoque une émeute dans les rues de Montréal et alimente la révolution politique à l'origine de la montée du mouvement indépendantiste québécois.
