G scale | E99 Starter Set to Layout, Scale and Gauge explained

Did you buy a G scale starter set? This video offers some advice on transitioning from a temporary display to a more permanent indoor layout or outdoor garden railroad.

LGB comes with brass track and "G scale" trains
PIKO comes with brass track and "G scale" trains
Bachmann comes with steel track and "G Scale" trains
USA Trains comes with brass track and a small 1/29 engine with "G scale" cars (not all usa trains engines follow the 4ft loop rule, but this one does)
