I never expected to find this in the WILD in Asenovgrad, Plovdiv region of Bulgaria

On today's video from A Taste of Bulgaria we are in the Plovdiv region's beautiful town of Asenovgrad. Host Gareth Gradwell and his friend Normen Wolf scale the mountain to reach one of the highest chapels on the Balkans

Asenovgrad is on the foothills of the Rhodope mountain range and is full with amazing nature. They make a trip to St Dimitar one of the cities many chapels.

You'll not believe what they find growing in the nature.

After they make a trip to one of Bulgaria's longest standing fortress' that has been around since the early Byzantine times.
