Heritage transport at Sandstone Estates, South Africa

Sandstone Estates is a working farm in the central mountains of South Africa. It also houses the internationally renowned Sandstone Heritage Trust collection that includes a large number of railway stock. A 2ft narrow gauge railway line has been installed on the grounds of the farm. The video features several Garratt-type steam locomotives, an Ox wagon, a Field-Marshal tractor of 1947 and a Bristol L-Type Single decker bus of 1954.

Sandstone Estates ist eine Farm im zentralen Bergland von Südafrika. Neben der Landwirtschaft beherbergt sie die umfangreiche Sammlung historischer Fahrzeuge des Sandstone Heritage Trust, zu der auch zahlreiche Lokomotiven und Eisenbahnwagen gehören. Eine mehrere Kilometer lange 610-mm-Schmalspurbahn wurde im Gelände der Farm errichtet.
