Wood Hatchet One Day Build, Diresta Style

I took a few days off work and wanted to make something that was a bit of a new challenge for me. I've done glue ups, I've used my new bandsaw to do some basic shapes at cuts. Now it was time for a real test! I've been making wooden baby teethers for friends, but I wanted something for my son!

Materials:
Teak and Maple construction
Finished with Bees Wax Paste

Tools Used:
Grizzly G0513ANV 17" Bandsaw - http://amzn.to/2mUdReS

I started with a Timberwolf 1/4" 10tpi - http://amzn.to/2nqzGPB
which was a terrible choice. Too many teeth for such dense wood, it got all gummed up.

So I switched to
Timberwolf 3/4 2-3 TPI blade because the wood was so hard. It can be found at http://amzn.to/2mNfGK9

I only let the glue sit for an hour before I ran them on the band saw, it was strong enough to get the project done, not a full cure time.
