So after doing this video: Rockhounding Tips Tricks & Secrets: Top Tips 4 You. We also had to send out a big "thank you" for all those of you that sent in tips and helped make this video possible our new show, that we just released.

This is our 4th video in this series, created to help you find more agates and cool rocks. In this video we have enlisted some help from our YouTube and Facebook
friends. We asked our friends the question "what is your top tip, in finding agates and rocks?

After many responses and sorting through them with some input from our friends we put what we think are the top 20 tips on "how to" find more agates & rocks.
We put them all together in this video along with some beautiful pictures of the treasures we have found in the last year to bring you even more tips to help you find more and more cool rocks and agates.

Like polishing any other skill, finding agates and cool rocks is a learning adventure and the more you do it the better you get at it.
You do not have to go to the beach or river to discover more agates and rocks, they are around us everywhere. Even in your own home town or city.
Now, your city, state or country may have different kinds then we commonly find here in the NW but cool agates and rocks abound in the world.
One big key is to keep your eye's open and looking down and all around, most especially at the places you used to ignore.

You see, we as humans have an incredible ability to percieve everything around us but put us in our normal surrounding environment and we tend to ignor the familiar. So it's time to wake up our sense's and take a fresh look around us, wherever that may be.
So next time your driving down the road, walking in your own neighborhood or even sometimes eve in your own backyard; stop and look and see what you normally don't pay attention to.
Are there rocks there? well take a second and even a third look.
Did you just see a glint?
Or maybe a glow?
Maybe it was an odd shape or just a few colors in a rock. Pick it up and take a closer look, that just may be your treasure for the day.
