Monsters Inc 2 - Return of Boo (2021 Movie Trailer Parody)

The iconic Boo returns in this brand new trailer for Monsters Inc 2!

Set 15 years after Boo ventured through her closet into the monster world of Monstropolis, she's finally ready to go back.

But Boo's not like most kids. She's not afraid... So join her on an unforgettable adventure as she searches for her long lost kitty.

This is a parody trailer. That means it's not real. Sometimes these videos are called Fan Trailers or Concept Trailers. They're important because they gauge interest in a potential movie (and are also a great way for fans to reminisce.)

This video was created by manipulating existing footage to give it new context. This was done through voice overs, masking, heavy effects work, sound design and juxtaposition of alternate scenes to create a new narrative.

There's been talk of a proper sequel to Monsters Inc for years. There was even a script written and preliminary work was completed by Pixar. Unfortunately it never got off the ground (but we got Monsters University instead).
