It is much more cost-effective to find a reputable mechanic who has a good source of quality tested low mileage JDM Toyota Prius engines that are imported from Japan, and have them replace your engine with one of these. This new Prius engine should be good for at least 100,000 more miles. An older Prius, swapping the engine with a good used engine is affordable, and makes sense if the rest of the car is still working properly.
