These strange one pickup ES-335 and ES-339 guitars from 2013 have always peaked my interest. They are just so weird and don't look like any other 335 / 339 with their whole one pickup set up. I was definitely interested in doing a review of one of these. I think I will seek out a Black Trapeze Tailpiece model for my 335 Studio Review.

This ES-339 has one Dirty Fingers + humbucker pickup in it with a master volume and master tone. It operates with a tune-o-matic bridge and traditional Gibson tailpiece. While it has many cost saving features such as a PCB for the electronics, dot inlays, no f-holes, a Gibson silkscreen logo and came stock with a Gig Bag instead of a case - it also has high-end appointmnents such as a full gloss finish and black binding along the neck. .

I loved the way this guitar played, but I wasnt' a huge fan of the sound. I think I was just in a neck pickup mood today though!
