I had a really lovely week off. I think since I’ve been working full time, the only times I take a week off have been when I’ve gone away somewhere (outside of Ontario). I know it’s been a year and a half since the pandemic started, but I haven’t taken many full weeks off, so many have been 4 days off and work a day, which really doesn’t feel like the same break. I was able to work on my fall décor a bit and this year I was trying to keep it more tasteful and less tacky – not that there is anything wrong with bright orange pumpkins everywhere, just nice to try new things sometimes! We also got away to the cottage for some beautiful hikes.
