In this video, we continue our Thailand traveling adventure and are starting our journey in Chiang Mai Thailand 2021 riding north to the province of Chiang Rai Thailand on our motorcycle Yamaha Xmax 300. Our fist stop is the Wat Rong Suea Ten, also known as The Blue Temple. After spending some time marveling at the vivid blue coloring & elaborate carvings, we decided to head on over to Wat Huay Pla Kang, also knows as The Temple On The Hill Chiang Rai. This is a beautiful temple to visit during the sunset. The huge temple complex features a stunning 9 story pagoda and beautiful bird eye views of the city of Chiang Rai.
Next in our adventure, we travel to the Golden Triangle in the far north of Thailand . The english name comes from the meeting point between Laos, Myanmar and Thailand, but the locals call it Sop Ruak, since this is where the Mekong meets the Ruak River. We took the longboat tour and got a closer look to the scenery around The Golden Triangle.
On our way back to Chiang Rai Thailand, we stopped at the Mae Fah Luang Garden in the Doi Tung National Park. There are a total of 4 attractions : The Garden, The Royal Villa, The Hall of Inspiration and The Arboretum, which offers another beautiful view of the 3 countries coming together. We also go on a zip line and tree top adventure which is a lot of fun.
