Corruption Enforcement, Presidential Pardons, & the Limits of Federal Prosecution w/ Brendan Ballou

On March 19, The Capitol Forum hosted a conference call with Brendan Ballou, founder of the Public Integrity Project.

In this timely discussion, Ballou examines recent developments in corruption enforcement, including the implications of presidential pardons, shifts in white-collar enforcement priorities, and the legal tools available to pursue accountability outside traditional federal prosecutions.

Drawing on his recent New York Times op-ed and his work at the Public Integrity Project, he also explores how private legal strategies may play an increasing role in enforcing corruption laws.

Stay tuned for more insights from The Capitol Forum.
