🏞️ But the excitement doesn’t stop there! We take on the challenge of conquering the towering dunes at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. You’ll witness our near-disaster climb (spoiler alert: we made it!) while we stayed at the cozy Indigo Bluffs RV Park, sharing laughs and stories under the starry Northern Michigan sky.
🐴 And guess what? We swapped our RV wheels for hooves on Mackinac Island! Exploring the island on horseback and bicycles was a dream. Feel the wind in your hair as we gallop through historic streets and pedal along scenic paths, uncovering the island’s charm and history.
🌉 While staying at the magnificent Mackinaw Mill Creek Campground - (best campite ever!) We cross the Mighty Mac, the iconic Mackinac Bridge and we make our way to the magnificent Mackinaw Mill Creek Campground. The view is breathtaking, and the adventures keep on coming!
⛴️ Our journey takes us to Whitefish Point, home to the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, where we dive into the maritime history of the region. And take in the beauty of Lake Superior! Then we move on to an epic hike through the mesmerizing Tahquamenon Falls, where the sheer beauty of nature leaves us speechless even though we had to push through extreme conditions.
