Jon Jones is publicly campaigning to leave the UFC 😳

Saturday night on the Netflix broadcast after Ngannou's KO: "I've got to try to focus on getting out of my UFC contract. That's going to be the difficult part. I don't think Dana is interested in doing business with Francis, so doing it with MVP would probably be the only way to make it happen."

Then hours later to his publicist Denise White: "I thought the MVP promotion was absolutely unbelievable. I think it was actually better than the UFC. I've never been at such a promotion where they had the fog machines and TVs absolutely everywhere, as well as great fighters."

"I've really wanted to box. I want to focus on nothing but my hands and surprise a lot of people."

The UFC's GOAT publicly saying a rival promotion is better. Saying he wants out of his contract. Saying his next fight should be boxing. Three statements in 24 hours that would've been unthinkable a month ago. Tyron Woodley even suggested MVP pay Jones' legal fees to get him into free agency. Jones' response: "How cool would that be?"
