Low filter pressure can have several causes. Most of the time they're easy to fix. Low pressure normally means the pump motor is not drawing enough water from the pool.

Make sure your bottom drain is clear and the water level is correct. That should be 1/3 - 1/2 up from the bottom of the skimmer.

Next, keep the skimmer basket cleaned out. The skimmer weir should move freely. If the skimmer basket if broken, it must be replaced.

Then we move on to your equipment. The pump pot lid should have a good o-ring. Lube it with Magic Lube that you can get from your local pool store.

Cavitation in your pump pot is an indication of low pressure. This is when the water goes up and down and churning. Clean out the pump basket and all debris from the pump pot.

Check the impeller for debris and clean out if needed.

Blocks clogs can sometimes happen in the skimmer. Keep it clean. Also, the plumbing going into the pump pot can get clogged as well.
