Odisha Vigilance Raid: ओडिशा में भ्रष्टाचार पर एक्शन! RTO ट्रैफिक इंस्पेक्टर रिश्वत लेते गिरफ्तार |

ओडिशा के सुंदरगढ़ जिले में भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ विजिलेंस विभाग ने बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए RTO कार्यालय के एक ट्रैफिक इंस्पेक्टर को 20 हजार रुपये की कथित रिश्वत लेते हुए रंगे हाथ गिरफ्तार किया है। अधिकारियों के अनुसार, यह रिश्वत ट्रक संचालन से जुड़े काम के बदले मांगी गई थी। गिरफ्तारी के बाद विजिलेंस टीम ने आरोपी अधिकारी के ठिकानों पर तलाशी ली, जहां से 14.33 लाख रुपये नकद बरामद होने की जानकारी सामने आई है। अब जांच एजेंसियां बरामद नकदी के स्रोत, चल-अचल संपत्तियों और अन्य वित्तीय लेनदेन की भी जांच कर रही हैं। मामले में आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई जारी है।

In a major crackdown on corruption in Odisha's Sundargarh district, the Vigilance Department arrested a Traffic Inspector from the RTO office red-handed while allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹20,000. According to officials, the bribe was demanded in exchange for work related to truck operations. Following the arrest, the Vigilance team searched the accused officer's premises, recovering ₹14.33 lakh in cash. Investigative agencies are now probing the source of the recovered cash, as well as the officer's movable and immovable assets and other financial transactions. Further legal action in the matter is underway.
