Hunting GHOST finds!

Here are the five most common reasons for what I call "ghost finds."

The more fitting term would be disappearing finds as I don't want you to confuse this phenomenon with so called "ghost" or "phantom signals." Ghost or phantom signals are caused by ground effects. Iron residue, burning processes in the past, mineral salts and elements with magnetic properties (sometimes shards) often confuse the detector. This problem can often be solved by adjusting the ground reject on your detector. In this video I will talk about actual targets that disappear after digging for it.
