STEELHEAD ATTEMPT #3: Spey Casting the Smith River

Another road trip up Northern California takes us first to the Sacramento River where we stopped to fish by the beautiful Sundial bridge for the evening.
Our final destination of the TOTAL 13 HOUR DRIVE, however, was the Smith River. When we arrived, friendly fisherman informed us that the Smith was the one of the most difficult rivers to wade and fish which only made me more enthusiastic to try it out. Check it out as we search for Steelhead once again, this time well prepared with a new Redington Dually Spey Casting rod.
