In a good portrait drawing, there are two elements needed to be captured and included: likeness and personality. The physical likeness requires the artist masters the proportions and comparative and angular measurement skills, and represent the proper values and contrasts. Capturing the personality requires the artist's sensibility and ability to discover the unique features and embed into the portrait drawing starting from the very beginning of the decision-making process. We will always keep the communication between our feeling and the drawing, and the goal of the creation is making an image that include convincing likeness and the unique personality. The process in this demonstration may help you through this discovery and creative journey.
