Vasculature of the Spinal Cord

The spinal cord's vasculature is a complex network of blood vessels that supply oxygen and nutrients to the spinal cord.

Arterial Supply
1. *Anterior Spinal Artery*: Arises from the vertebral arteries, merging to form a single artery that runs along the anterior surface of the spinal cord.
2. *Posterior Spinal Arteries*: Usually two, arising from the posterior inferior cerebellar arteries or vertebral arteries, supplying the posterior one-third of the spinal cord.
3. *Radicular Arteries*: Arise from the aorta, intercostal arteries, and lumbar arteries, entering the spinal cord through the intervertebral foramina.

Venous Drainage
1. *Anterior Spinal Vein*: Runs along the anterior surface of the spinal cord, draining into the vertebral veins.
2. **Posterior Sp
