SKYLIGHT [SCI-FI SHORT FILM] [2021]

Following the tragic disappearance of her parents, a young woman investigates a celestial force as a local radio host documents sudden strange occurrences across their sleepy midwestern town, Lunar Falls.

As a team with a strong foundation in post production, each artist behind Skylight offers a unique set of skills covering visual effects, animation, CG, sound, color, and more. Collaboration across these different fields of expertise allows a small group to tackle an ambitious project. While our talents may be different, our collective interest in the emotional impact driven by the thriller genre and the imagination of classic science-fiction has sparked our desire for storytelling. The combination of technical and creative artists on our team allows for any vision to come to life through communication and inventiveness. Skylight utilizes visual effects and animation to explore feelings of suspense, excitement, and anticipation in a mysterious universe. This foundation allows us to push the boundaries between reality and the supernatural, and create a new world for audiences to explore.
