Nowadays shuaijiao is gaining popularity all over the China and even beyond.

Its history has over 5000 years. This kind of wrestling originates from the nomadic people of Northern China and Mongolia. Later it was refined and enriched with the new techniques in the Central China.
The first mentions of shuaijiao belong to the legendary period of Yellow Emperor Huang Di, the founder of the Underheaven Empire. Then shuaijiao (the art of throwing, knocking over) was called judi - the butting.
