ElasticSearch in Python #19 - Ingest pipelines

Hello, everyone! Welcome to another video. Today, we're going to explore the ingest API in Elasticsearch. You'll learn what a pipeline is and when to use it.

A pipeline allows you to transform data before it's indexed. For example, if you have some documents and created an index, you can pass them through an ingest pipeline before indexing.

Ingest pipelines can apply transformations like removing fields, converting text to lowercase, stripping HTML tags, and more.

Pipelines can include multiple transformation steps, and after the data successfully passes through each step, the documents are indexed.

In this series, we focus on using the Python client to interact with Elasticsearch.
