What I relearnt last year!

1 The power of pests such as slugs and caterpillars, and new ones for here such as leaf miner. We don’t know what is coming for our plants this year, it depends on weather a lot
2 The power of a small area well managed, even one bed. Homeacres is now 1550m² compared to the one bed of my trial, including its path is 11m². In 2023 it gave 103kg trimmed and kitchen-ready vegetables = 14.5T from the 1550m² = 77T/ha

3 The power of summer, half way is about mid July - the SPEED of growth in July includes weeds so BE AHEAD of them. Weed small!
Being ahead means occasional winter gardening even midwinter if mild - weeding!
