Q50S Hybrid 0-60 In 4.63 Seconds (Part 2)
Video explaining how I achieved a 4.63 second 0-60 run in my 2014 Q50S Hybrid. I didn't mention it it the video, but after you blip the throttle in manual mode to get the engine to turn on press the brake pedal only as hard as you have to get the car to stop. Pressing too hard will tell the ECU to turn the engine off again. Sometimes even with light pressure the engine will turn off and the car will go back to EV. In that case, just blip the throttle again and repeat pressing the brake as light as possible with just enough pressure to get the car to start. Usually no more than 2 times is needed to get the engine to stay on at a stop. Also, I apologize for having the phone in my right hand that I had to use to hit shift paddle, which didn't make for the best quality.
