Latter-Day Saints Are REALLY Good At This

If you have high blood pressure, anxiety, or depression, this one thing that Latter-day Saints excel in has been proven to help.

Pew Research has shown that Latter-day Saints are exceptionally good at gratitude, better than most other religious groups, with 78% of Latter-day Saints feeling a deep sense of gratitude at least weekly.

And there’s a reason that in Doctrine and Covenants 78 the Lord said those who are thankful shall be made glorious.

Studies have shown that those with high levels of gratitude have lower levels of anxiety, depression, and even diastolic blood pressure.

But obviously the benefits are far greater than physical or mental.

Gratitude helps to ground us on the things that matter most and remind us that everything we have comes from God.

When we take our gratitude seriously, God multiplies our offering of loaves and fishes and makes us into something greater.

Whenever I’m stressed or overwhelmed, taking a moment to pray has consistently helped me feel better. Not only am I connecting with God to feel his love and receive revelation, but I’m pausing to take inventory of all the ways I’ve been blessed.
