Pike Fishing SMALL Creeks and Rivers

It can be difficult to find pike in these rivers but they are definitely there, and I managed to hook into a good number of them. I fished the rivers for two days to make this video but I think it came together pretty nicely. Covering lots of ground and not staying in one spot for too long can help tremendously in your success targeting these feisty little guys.

Rod/reel setup used in the video:
-Quantum Octane 6'6" medium heavy action rod with an Abu Garcia silver max and 30lb braided line, connected to a 27lb 9" steel leader.
***The rod and reel I was using is a cheap setup, and I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. I normally only use it at the river in case something bad happens, I'd rather break that than an expensive rod/reel.
