What's going on Initiate, Bird here and in this video we are going over the Wolf Hound Square from the Resident Evil universe and exactly who they are.

The Hound Wolf Squad is an elite BSAA task force. Originally operating as their own separate unit in the BSAA, in 2018 founding BSAA member and SOU Captain Chris Redfield, who grew distrustful of the organization after they chose to cover up the Baker House Incident in order to save face for their failure to eliminate Eveline in Munich before she could board the Annabelle, commandeered the unit without the BSAA HQ approval and spent the next three years hunting down Miranda, effectively making the unit rogue.

In February 2021, they undertook a mission to kill Mother Miranda and her cult as well as evacuate Ethan, Mia and Rosemary Winters. Despite their apparent rogue status following the Village incident, the Hound Wolf Squad was deployed alongside BSAA forces into the ruins of the Raccoon City quarantine zone on 26 October, 2026. Acting under direct orders from their captain, the unit was tasked with locating Elpis, securing the ARK facility, and rescuing Division of Security Operations agent Leon Scott Kennedy and FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft.

The operation was ultimately successful. The squad recovered the Elpis samples and extracted both Kennedy and Ashcroft from the facility. During the extraction, squad member Rolando "Umber Eyes" Elba informed Kennedy that Chris Redfield had a message for him. Following completion of their objectives, the Hound Wolf Squad withdrew from the area, leaving standard BSAA forces to secure the remaining sections of the ARK facility. Their departure, however, created a security vacuum. A Connections Special Operations unit subsequently infiltrated the site, eliminated the remaining BSAA personnel stationed in the area, and recovered additional samples before executing a tactical withdrawal, afraid that the wolves would be sent in behind them.
