Blessed to have played Sitar in Bandish Bandits! (Labb par aaye)

Classical music is just not some notes but an emotion and Shankar Ehsaan Loy are the best communicator when it comes to deliver that emotion. They proved it again in the most popular musical web series Bandish Bandits. What masterpieces they've created!

I couldn't stop myself from making a cover of one of my personal favorite songs from this series, Lab Par Aaye. This track is beautifully sung by Javed Ali and masterly composed by Shankar Ehsan Loy who have given a rebirth to the classical way of music through this mind blowing track.

I am also very excited to share with you that I have played Sitar in Garaj Garaj sung by Pt. Ajay Chakraborty ji. You can listen to that track on YouTube. I am overwhelmed having blessed with such an opportunity from Shankar ji.

How can I forget the gems who shaped this composition perfectly? We recorded at Jimmy Desai's studio. He recorded, mixed, and mastered the track. Two great musicians from Gujarat and my friends Kalim Sheikh ji on Tabla and Firoz Zeriya ji on Dholak have added a real essence on percussion in this track.
