That is a LOT OF LINKS!! I had no idea I had made so many videos that would help throughout the application process, but here we are!
I had an absolute blast with Adrienne this week. It was actually Chuseok weekend so I was super nervous nothing would be open, but actually everything we wanted to see we got to, and you'll see more of that in Adrienne's vlog hopefully!
Thank you to Adrienne for sharing her Hagwon timeline, yes, this can vary SIGNIFICANTLY more than the EPIK timeline does, and moreso each and every year as the demand for western teachers in hagwons grows. However, this gives a great insight into how quick the actual hagwon application is.
From start to finish she was moving to Korea three months after her holiday here in Korea. She was in great standing having done a lot of research into cities and Korean culture, so the transition was made super smoothly and quickly. Especially given that her hagwon needed her in Korea much faster!
I hope this timeline helps some of you guys who are looking at more than just EPIK as an option for moving to Korea, because it might be just the option you've been looking for, happy watching!
