Flying Lead Changes - Practicing On Uneven Terrain
Our lead changes need to be taught in a step by step fashion or you'll always be fighting through the progress. Practicing away from home out in the open on uneven surface will develop confidence for you & your horse which will make it so much easier when you get back home on flat ground in familiar surroundings without the added distractions & stimulations you might have to deal with away from home. Stopping & asking for a lead change up hill or down hill is much more demanding than on flat ground. "Make it REAL, keep it REAL" (Patience is key) "Practice makes perfect"!
