Babylon Blues (Prod. By ThatKidGoran)

I wrote this song a little over a year ago but never shared it. Originally, I wrote it as a way to express some of my disbelief and frustration around the global changes that I was witnessing, but felt hesitant to share it because I know how sensitive and controversial these topics can be.

I choose to focus on sharing content that inspires love and the understanding of oneself, because it is my understanding that only by healing and awakening ourselves can we help humanity heal and awaken as a whole.

I’d rather promote messages that unify us and remind us of our shared humanity than divide us against each other out of fear.

But I am also aware that there are people who want us to be divided against each other.

They want to divide us into the right and the left, men against women, white against black, and even vaxxed against unvaxxed.

If we are always fighting against each other, we’ll never pay attention to who is really profiting from all of this fear and division.

I am not on any side other than the one that promotes truth, love and freedom for humanity, and is against any injustices that stand in the way of that.

I don’t know the full scope of what is happening but I am observant enough to recognize propaganda when I see it, and it is obvious to me that there is a corporate/political agenda behind many of these social changes.

It takes very little research to see that corporations (even pharmaceutical corporations) fund government agencies and media outlets for their benefit, and personally, I find it hard to believe that any agency that allows chemicals like roundup, atrazine, BHT and BHA (among others) to exist in our food supply cares more about public health than their own private interests.

Topics promoting natural immunity are censored while fast food businesses thrive.

Doctors and scientists are silenced when they don’t agree with mainstream narratives.

There is enough evidence for me to form my own conclusions, and if our opinions on this topic differ, that doesn’t mean that we need to be enemies.

We each have our own minds and the right to think what we want.

That is what I want to defend. Not your opinion or my opinion, but our right to express our opinion freely, and that is something that I see being threatened right now.

As the author Evelyn Beatrice Hall said “I may disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”

I hope that, regardless of personal views, we can all agree to stand for love and unity rather than fear and separation.

If you hold hatred in your heart or wish violence upon anyone, then it is those negative emotions you need to be aware of.

They are the real enemy, and the one you have the most power to influence.

The violence in the world comes from the violence in the mind.

By healing our own minds, and awakening beyond the limiting views of separation, hatred, ignorance and fear, we can help humanity as a whole to awaken beyond those as well.

May we transform the negativity within us.
May we always stand for truth and freedom.
May we always choose lover over fear.
