CNN didn’t get Biden’s memo on national unity: Paul Murray

Joe Biden will continue to “beat that unity drum” throughout his presidency but it doesn’t look like the “Biden Booster Network,” CNN, got the memo, says Sky News host Paul Murray.

President-elect Joe Biden was confirmed as the victor of the 2020 Presidential election after the Electoral College met and certified the election results.

“Well of course, he (Biden) was beating that unity drum because that’s the narrative that he will be on for the next couple of years,” Mr Murray said.

Mr Biden preached unity and healing urging the need to “work together” and to “give each other a chance to lower the temperature.”

“So, how’s that unity going especially on the Biden Booster Network,” Mr Murray said.

New York Times columnist Tom Friedman said on CNN the Republican Party needed to “go sit in the corner and reflect on who they are and what they”.

“They’ve become a cancer on our democracy,” Mr Friedman said.
