How to Make Puerto Rican - Helado de Parcha - Passion Fruit Sorbet @ Home #easy | Home Cook Chefs

Nothing it's more refreshing than a Puerto Rican style Homemade Helado de Parcha.  You won't be able to stop eating this Passion Fruit Sorbet.  It's delightful.

Mind you that I usually develop my recipes on the go. That's why I ended up altering the sugar content of this delicious sorbet.  Also, I was making a big batch.

Why sugar is a key ingredient when making ice cream?  Well, sugar divides the water molecules resulting in better crystallizations.  This way the texture is more refine and silky.

For a Single Batch (32 oz)
You will need:
1 Cup - Frozen Passion Fruit Pulp (8oz)
3/4 Cup - Cold Water
1 Cup - Ice
6 TBSP - Granulated Sugar
Blender
Bowl (of 32 ounces)
