Creamy Seafood Lasagna with Shrimp & Crab
Ingredients:
12 lasagna pasta sheets
1 lb shrimp, peeled, cleaned, and chopped into pieces
1 lb crab meat (lump or claw style)
2 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves, finely minced
1 small onion, diced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
4 tbsp all-purpose flour
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 egg
½ tsp Old Bay seasoning
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:

Heat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
Boil the lasagna noodles in salted water until just tender. Drain and place them on parchment paper so they do not stick together.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sautéing until softened and aromatic. Sprinkle in flour and stir continuously for about 1 to 2 minutes to create a smooth base.
Gradually whisk in the milk and heavy cream until the mixture becomes creamy and slightly thick. Add half of the mozzarella and half of the Parmesan cheese. Season with Old Bay, paprika, salt, and black pepper, then remove from heat.
In a separate bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, and 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley until blended.
Assemble the lasagna by spreading a thin layer of sauce in the baking dish. Arrange 3 noodles over the sauce, spread some ricotta mixture, add shrimp and crab, spoon over more sauce, and sprinkle with mozzarella. Continue layering until ingredients are used, ending with noodles, sauce, and the remaining cheese on top.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking another 15 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbling.
Allow the lasagna to rest for 10 minutes before cutting into portions. Finish with fresh parsley before serving.
