Oklahoma Wheat Harvest 2011 Texas County

I saw some combines running south of town and went to get some video. There are 5 machines in this crew, all JD 9760 Bullet Rotors with 35' draper headers. The foreman of the operation said they had been harvesting about 800 acres per day and their yields had been from 10 to 26 bushels per acre with test weights about 62 pounds per bushel. The crops shown here are all dry land.
This are has been in drought conditions since last year and there have been several wild fires this spring. There are fireworks and burn bans in effect.
