Brake Calliper Clip – High Accuracy, Stainless Steel, and Spring Steel

A major automotive OEM’s Tier 1 supplier tasked us with producing a brake calliper clip for a North American high-performance vehicle.

To maintain a very specific brake pressure, the component required exceptional accuracy. Given the properties of spring stainless steel, which can make stamping and forming more complex, this presented a serious challenge.

The supplier required a solution that low production costs from hard tooling but the ability to develop the part through testing.

The final clip successfully:

● Met all OEM capability and performance targets, which resulted in the product being capable.
● Delivered high-accuracy, reliable part that supported the customer’s brake system requirements.
● Provided flexibility for ongoing development cycles without additional tooling investment.
