Embraer KC-390 Millennium VS Lockheed Martin C-130J-30 Super Hercules Who wins?

Brazilska kompanija Embraer je objavila da je sa vladom Mađarske potpisala ugovor o nabavci dva višenamenska transportna aviona C-390 Milenium.
Ugovor obuhvata i obuku pilota i mehaničara i usluge podrške u održavanju ovih aviona. Isporuka ovih aviona će početi 2023. godine.
U pitanju je višenamenska letelica čija se unutrašnjost prilagođava potrebama misije na koju leti. Ovim avionima će se u mađarskom ratnom vazduhoplovstvu vršiti usluge vazdušnog transporta, pretakanja goriva u vazduhu i medicinskog zbrinjavanja. Ako se koristi kao transporter avion nosi oznaku C-390, a ako ima ulogu vazdušnog tankera ona ima oznaku KC-390. Avion ima cev za sopstvenu popunu goriva u letu, ali i sistem za točenje koji će se koristiti za dopunjavanje goriva mađarskih Gripena u letu.
C-390 su avoinikom, komunikacijama i u drugim sistemima u potpunosti NATO kompatibilni. Avion je proizveden od strane brazilskog proizvođača aviona Embraer. Brazil je naručio 28 aviona, a Mađarska je drugi strani kupac posle Portugala koji je naručio 5 aviona. Transportni avion Milenijum ima približne performance kao i produženi C-130J-30 Super Herkules.
Embraerov avion može da prenese 26 t korisnog tereta, a Lokid Martinov 20 t. Prevedeno u brojke Brazilac nosi 80 vojnika sa punom opremom ili 74 ranjenika na nosilima ili 66 padobranaca ili 7 velikih master paleta.
Amerikanac prevozi 128 vojnika sa punom ratnom opremom, ili 97 ranjenika i medicinskih radnika, 92 padobranca ili 8 master paleta.
Takođe može da prenese do tri HMMVW, jedan BOV Stryker ili jedan M113 oklopni transporter.
The Brazilian company Embraer announced that it had signed a contract with the government of Hungary for the purchase of two multi-purpose transport planes C-390 Millennium.
