Song of Natasha "Po kamushkam..."(По камушкам)
Opera "Rusalka" (Mermaid) ( 4 acts ) was composed in 1848-1855 by A.S. Dargomyzhsky . It's based on the incomplete Pushkin's dramatic poem of the same name. Natasha was seduced by Prince who left her for another woman. Natasha ( Miller's daughter), pregnant and heart-broken, drowns herself in the river of Dnepr.
In this video you can listen to the scene in the Act II when Prince is celebrating his marriage and suddenly hears a voice singing a song . He recognises Natasha's voice.
