This is the first of the so-called pastoral epistles of Paul. 1 & 2 Timothy and Titus are the last letters from Paul which we have in the New Testament. As God’s apostle he is burdened to set things right in the Church of the Living God. Paul wrote 1 Timothy to deal with church leadership, correct doctrine, and appropriate conduct. 1 Timothy is very relevant for our times where many have gone away from God, gone astray from the Word of God and have become like the sinful world to the core. 1 Timothy teaches divine truths to the believers how to deal with false teaching, feminism, ungodly leadership, godlessness and materialism etc. May the Lord use this exposition to set people free from sin and unscriptural lifestyles for His glory and their good.
