Tent Review [ Quechua - Quick Hiker Ultralight 2 ]

Tent review of the, Decathlon - Quechua 'Quick Hiker Ultralight 2' tent for backpacking and wild camping.

The tent was purchased for my daughter to use when away with the Scouts on weekend trips.

However I have also used this same tent when doing the 'West Highland Way' with my partner a few years ago as well as several mountain summit camps. It is ideal for wild camping and backpacking and have also used it frequently for solo overnight camping trips.

At around 1950g it is a good weight too, making this tent a great option if you prefer a little more internal living space than porch space coupled with a low weight.

Tent Materials: All Quechua tents are laboratory tested (the WHOLE TENT under 200 litres/hour/sqm and for 4 hours!) and field tested before approval. Polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet inside, polyethylene 120g/m² ground sheet. All seams are sealed with thermobonded tape. The breathable, water repellent polyester bedroom and mosquito net prevent contact with droplets of condensation.
