www.patreon.com/vbbsmyt. The Danish Madsen light machine-gun was originally designed in 1902 and has been in use for over 100 years. It's very compact design uses a hinged bolt modelled on the Martini Rifle action. When a barrel becomes worn it can be quickly replaced by a new unit consisting of barrel, barrel extension, bolt and feed lever. As the assembly has been set up at the factory or workshop no adjustments are needed in the field. Integated barrel and bolt assemblies can be made for a wide variety of cartridges, and these can be mounted in the Madsen frame without any further changes. Animation created using Cinema 4D.
