Slave Brutalities in Barbados

They say slavery wasn't bad in the Caribbean. It was "far worse in America than in the Caribbean." But what do they know. Slavery in the Caribbean was ten times worse and Barbados was not spared. Reading stories of the horrors our ancestors faced such as being whipped to almost near death, merciless beatings, not fed properly and being treated as garbage under the plantocracy. What is even shocking to me was finding out that Rachel Lauder is actually Rachel Pringle, in one story she beaten one of her enslaved women. Yup this is a bloody reality of what happened during slavery in Barbados
