[2 Ways] Convert MBR to GPT Without Data Loss for Windows 11 Upgrade

Step1️⃣Check Your Disk & Determine the Method
The MBR2GPT tool in Command Prompt has certain limitations—it only supports Windows 10 version 1703 and later, the target disk must be the system disk, and the disk can have no more than three primary partitions (no logical partitions). If these conditions are not met, you will need the help of EaseUS Partition Master, which can bypass some of these restrictions and complete the MBR to GPT conversion.

Step3️⃣Back up Data to Avoid Unexpected Data Loss
It's always recommended to create a backup before an operation related to the system drive.

Step4️⃣Convert MBR disk to GPT
Using Command Prompt
Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
Run mbr2gpt /validate /disk:X /allowFullOS to check if the disk can be converted.
Run mbr2gpt /convert /disk:X /allowFullOS to perform the conversion.
(Replace X with your target disk number.)
Change firmware settings from BIOS to UEFI to boot from the GPT disk.
Using EaseUS Partition Master
Open EaseUS Partition Master.
Go to Disk Converter and choose "MBR to GPT."
Select the target disk and click "Convert."
Wait for it to reboot and operate.
Change firmware settings from BIOS to UEFI to boot from the GPT disk.

Step5️⃣Hide System Reserved/EFI partition (If Needed)
Simply open Disk Management.
Right-click on the drive and remove its drive letter.
